Social and family conflict in A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry In the context of a given historical moment, the passage of time allows us to reflect on attitudes and people's emotions. The political atmosphere, commercial fashions, social trends or religious fervor of the time we observe, give flavor to the attitudes we will find there. Some aspects of our human nature are eternal like eating or sleeping, like family ties or the conflicts that divide them. In Lorraine Hansberry's work "A Raisin in the Sun" we can clearly see not only the drama that each of us experiences in family and love bonds, but it gives us an immortal glimpse of the history of the times in which it was written. Much of the political action that occurred during the period described in this work is specific to the era it portrays.
