OctoberMay-June: I conducted a structured interview during a classroom assessment for the CHRP, developed a job description, person specification and also an onboarding plan for a senior role, for the first time, still related to my CHRP rating. I lead 1-2 effective induction sessions per week for junior FOH roles and use two-way feedback. July: I consult the ACAS website every single day, I am much more aware of the intricacies of employment law, I now manage recruitment matters effectively within the law. In my new role, my focus may not be on recruiting, as I am looking for an HR administrator role, although I will continue to learn about new trends/ways to attract and retain talent by reading widely and look forward to contribute to the recruitment and selection process in a new company/sector.
