United AirlinesUnited Airlines is one of the largest airlines in the United States and the world. Furthermore, it is ranked as the oldest commercial airline founded by Walter Varney. United Airlines started as an airmail service and then expanded its services to become an air carrier. In 1927, William Boeing founded his own airline, Boeing Air Transport, and began purchasing all other air mail companies, including Varney's Air Mail Company. After a while, Boeing began producing airplanes and components, which allowed him to expand his company into a larger organization. Furthermore, within the Boeing company, he purchased several airports to expand his organization. In 1929, the Boeing company changed its name to United Aircraft and Transport Corp. (UATC). After a while, they realized that the airline had more capacity to carry passengers. So they hired a flight attendant to help passengers and created a passenger airline. In 1930, UATC created an airline based in Chicago and called it National Air Transport Inc., which is a larger airline with a larger fleet. After a while, UATC needed a company to organize its operations and subsidiaries, so it created a company called United Air Lines Inc. After the Air mail Act of 1934, which separated ownership of the aircraft manufacturer and airlines, the president of UATC had to resign and moved to another airline at the time, Trans-Canada Airlines, now Air Canada. After this fall, the Boeing company was split into several parts, the first part was the aircraft production, the second part was the component supplier, and the third part was the United Air Lines aviation group. After creating a separate airline, they needed a new president with a new president... halfway... a long and successful history in the airline industry, making it one of the leading airlines in the world. Furthermore, it provides the most comfortable flights and services to its customers and employees, which makes it unique. Resources: "United Airline". Century of flight. Airlines and airliners.
