Utopia a state where everything is perfect, or a good place. Many wonder whether it is really possible to create a utopian society. Countless people have wondered what a utopian society would be like. Many invent a place that asks the question: a utopia: for whom? My utopia doesn't try to fit the perfect image of utopia, rather I like to make it a place where it isn't a bad place for anyone, but still strives to be a perfect place that gets better every day without harming anyone else. This is not to say that if you break the law you won't be in trouble and can do whatever you want because that would violate others in society. This is a society based on fairness, justice and fundamental freedoms that should be guaranteed to all. It is not a society where everyone is completely legal and equal, but the choices are theirs, everyone in this society is given the same opportunities. It's what you do with those opportunities that decides who you are. More's Utopia is described by Raphael who says, “well, the island is widest in the center, where it measures about two hundred miles in diameter. It is never much narrower than this, except towards the ends, which gradually taper and curve all around, just as if they had been drawn with a pair of compasses, until it forms a circle five hundred miles in circumference" ( More 49). Raphael goes on to say, "Through this flows the sea, and then widens into an enormous lake, though in reality it looks more like a vast permanent pond, for, being completely protected from the wind by the surrounding land, the water never becomes rough .
