1. Previous Experience Having previous experience in a particular type of skill or movement decreases the difficulty of learning the new skill for the student. Having this prior experience might not only make it easier, but will speed up the learning process overall. This is because the student can associate the knowledge already acquired with learning the new skill, placing less stress on the student and their body. An example of this is: A child has just started gymnastics and is learning a new skill called a "running Passe Hop." this skill involves running and moving in a leap such as jumping and landing. If a child has previously practiced the simple skip, the student will be able to learn the skip hop movement much faster. Confidence Confidence is a feeling of security that comes from the appreciation of one's abilities or qualities. Having a reasonable level of self-confidence and self-confidence will increase your pace of learning and increase success. Although one element of gaining confidence is acquiring and correctly executing a complex skill. This then goes on to cultivate students' self-esteem and a sense of achievement, then leading to providing motivation for future skill development. An example of this is: A teenage gymnast in the associative phase of learning who has had problems with flexibility in the past and has worked on performing the splits on her right leg and achieving her goal. By realizing this skill the student can then have the confidence to proceed by learning how to perform the middle splits (straddle) as they have now gained confidence and eliminated their fear of failure. Heredity Heredity refers to genetic characteristics that have been inherited from......middle of paper......the aerobic system is not fatigued but only stressed. Since floor gymnastics routines last on average one minute and 30 minutes, it is important that the athlete has greater aerobic resistance to reduce the risk of injury and increase the quality of performance.Anaerobic training - Strength trainingStrength is the ability to a muscle or muscle group to release a force against a resistance of calculated loads, thus building muscle strength. For gymnastics, the key benefits of strength training are: general health benefits increased strength power development increased balance (core strength) abilities reduced risk of injury A gymnast must be able to maintain optimal balance like many gymnastics skills (such as routines involving the beam and floor routines) involve frequent movement from one position to another, therefore they have no automatic stability.
