The nature of leadership adopted is of enormous importance to most organizations. The leadership at hand according to this exploration is mastering leadership. Dominant leadership is characterized by the power and dominance of leaders over their subordinates. This study assumes the following structure: literature review, methodology, results, discussion and references. Data will be collected using questionnaires and interview guides. The analysis will then be carried out using simple statistics such as percentages and frequencies. This study will be important because it will help inform leaders on whether or not to adopt dominant leadership. Organizations will also benefit from the study because they will also learn the type of leadership that brings out the best in the workforce.
