The New Testament reveals more about the fall in terms of man's redemption story. In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul reveals the special relationship between God and his chosen family. Furthermore, Murray leaves out the fact that Jesus Christ created humanity with God the Father. Although the professor deals with the effects of the fall, this analysis paper will exclude this section of the analysis paper. Two Doctrines for Understanding the Fall of Man God's word offers Christians two Scriptural doctrines regarding the fall of man. First, Jesus Christ as part of the eternal deity created the world. The evangelist John the apostle said: “All things were made by him; and without him was not made anything that was made (Jn. 1:3 KJV). Furthermore, the third person of the Trinity also “created the worlds” with God the Father (Hebrews 1:2 KJV). God had His chosen family before the foundation of the worlds. The Bible teaches, “Because he foreknew, he also predestined him to be conformed to the image of his Son…” (Romans 8:29 KJV). Even Paul, the apostle to the Gentiles, said that we were chosen in (Jesus Christ) before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4 KJV).
