It has also become a good platform to learn and move forward in being a leader in different types of situations. I definitely learned a lot about myself. Being a leader can be difficult sometimes, but just knowing that the people you work with are all part of the team and are your peers makes it easier to communicate in the group; this was something I learned through my first experience as a leader. Before this experience I thought that leadership was not a quality I had in me and that I probably wouldn't be able to be a leader, but after having this experience, it opened the doors for me to become a leader in other aspects of my life . To this day, I would say that I use the skills I learned from school into adulthood in my career and college life to become a stronger, more ambitious, and empowered leader.
