I would incorporate learning exercises into the classroom that identify what drives a student to be more engaged so they can absorb the information I am providing (visualizations, open discussions, group work , projects and experiments). I assume that students would have a greater tendency to retain information if they were more engaged. Therefore, I would like to “put my students to work” and involve them in the teaching/learning process. Additionally, I would make sure to reinforce and reiterate the information provided so that questions and answers can be asked and addressed accordingly. I think this approach is what creates a better learning atmosphere.
