There have been many turning points in my life, but I would say one really stands out to me. This happened when my grandfather passed away in 2010. I talked about this event and how it affected my life in a reflection article earlier this year, but I thought it would be a good opportunity to process an event that changed my life. I clearly remember the day I learned of my grandfather's passing. I was at school. It was a normal and joyful day. My dad wanted to pick me up, but my friend's mom came to pick me up instead. He didn't want to tell me why, but I didn't think much about it. I remember the car ride to my house.
