The story conveys the message that life is short and don't waste time. Spend this worthy time to achieve something good or achieve your goals. Rather than him who had spent his whole life in luxury and in the end had found no one behind him all that was gone. He wasted his life on things that weren't worthy, like drinking all the time. Which brought him close to death. Criticism/Analysis: The story made me feel sad because the antagonist had suffered after entering the real world due to his fantasies. The strongest aspect of the story is when Neddy learned the lesson from his journey: time passes quickly and life is too short. The weakest aspect of the story is Neddy's attitude and feelings which changed during his journey meeting people.
