For example, a good television program that helps a child become smart and learn a thing or two is Sesame's Street. Sesame's Street is a children's show that has been on the air since the 1960s. The show consists of humans and puppets, who use comedy and cartoons to teach children educational things; based on songs and games (Sesame Workshop). I saw this show work for kids right before my eyes. Ever since I was sixteen I went to my grandmother's nursery and helped her with the children. Sesame's Street was always played in his daycare. The children would have learned so many things from the show. There was an episode here where Elmo and Cookie Monster sang the alphabet in a song. It wasn't like the original song, this one was different and catchy. So catchy that I found myself singing along to the song too. I could definitely see that catchy song working for kids too because every time I saw them, I asked them the alphabet and they told me, perfectly. So I totally disagree with Sachs, parents shouldn't keep them in a box and hide them from the TV, they should instead look for the appropriate ones and show them
