Most children who bring guns to school do so because they think it makes them look cool in the eyes of their peers or they are bullied by others . Many of these thoughts come from our society, from things like TV and video games. Second, gun activists are not the only ones who support teaching gun safety in schools. After all the events of not only the last few years, but even today, school districts and state legislatures across the country are pushing for gun safety in schools. This education would promote personal safety. More schools need to have a mandatory “Eddie Eagle” program taught as early as kindergarten.
