Although not as severe as DID, it is still something to consider. At first I thought I was the only one taking the precautionary measures to identify who my audience is before posting anything, but after reading “Putting Your Best Cyberface Forward” by Stephanie Rosenbloom, social scientists have been studying this practice for more than 20 years. The scholars concluded that they think impression management is “an intentionally deceptive or nefarious practice.” Instead, I base myself on determining which personality to show by analyzing my two main factors: the people I'm with and what surrounds me. I constantly wonder what people would say if I had done this or if I had said that. I assume it is this fear that consumes my true inner self. Check what part of me can emerge and what part is appropriate at the moment
