To be able to talk about poverty we must first understand its origin and cause. Each cause of poverty varies, but they all impact people and society in the same way. Studies say there are few reasons such as population growth, corruption, etc. However, the real reason still remains open. It has become a terrible problem all over the world. Since the causes of poverty are different, each requires a specific solution. In most countries the story began with inequality based on financial wealth, much like the world today. Countries that suffered colonization and slavery had difficulty freeing themselves from discrimination. Poverty is defined as the lack of the minimum food and shelter necessary for the maintenance of life. It has become the largest global problem because it affects a large percentage of the population. Today, it is estimated that more than 35 million Americans, or about 14% of the population, live in poverty. The numbers are high and continue to rise. Statistics have shown that poverty is increasing. Millions of people die every year because they lack the resources and food needed to live daily lives. There are many programs that offer projects to help or at least reduce the poverty rate, but they lack financial support. Many middle class people are on the poverty line and if the economy does not improve, they will reach poverty. This is very upsetting, especially if most of us are middle class. Poverty can happen to anyone, it all depends on society and the economy. According to the definition of relative poverty, the poor are those who do not have what they need most. Without a basis for living a dignified life it has become difficult... middle of paper... By taxing the rich more and the poor less, taxation methods must be tailored to an individual's financial bracket to ensure that social mobility ascending becomes an absolute possibility. Building self-sustaining economies and plans to launch new industries and businesses will also need people's encouragement. Education, provides training for tomorrow's workforce and helps the economy combat rising poverty. Media Involvement: The media has a lot of power when it comes to getting society's attention. Thanks to the media, people will become aware of one of the biggest problems, poverty. Microfinancing offers financial services to individuals in developing countries who want to run their own businesses. All these ideas should be implemented. It may seem unrealistic to try all 10, but trying a few solutions would help the cycle of poverty
