“Natural Born Killers,” “Psycho,” “Friday the 13th,” and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” are all horror films. In these movies there is always some madman or monster-like character going around and slaughtering innocent people. And usually, but not always, the killer is killed at the end of the film. The media publishes or broadcasts stories that horror films cause people to imitate these illicit acts of violence. I believe these movies do not influence people to imitate these murderous crimes on innocent people. Horror films are a way for people to exercise their violent emotions without hurting anyone. The media publishes, in my opinion stupid, horror movie stories that say some crazy kid just killed someone because of a horror movie he saw. . I think the guy blaming the movie is just a get out of jail reason. Firstly, parents of such children should not show horror films for 8 year olds there. That's why there is a classification system. And all horror films are rated R, meaning no one under the age of 17 should watch the film without adult supervision.
