There are many endangered species in the world and there are many ways in which they are being affected. But there are many ways we can help these animals and plants. There's no reason why we can't fix what we started. If we don't do this we will lose our beautiful environment. There is nothing normal about the current rate of extinction. The strong growth of the human population in the last two centuries has put and continues to endanger many forms of life. The problem is that no one knows how the extinction of organisms will affect other members of the ecosystem, but the removal of a single species can trigger a chain reaction that affects others as well. Species are lost because their habitats are destroyed. In 1973, Congress passed the Endangered Species Act recognizing that endangered and threatened species of wildlife and plants have aesthetic, ecological, historical, recreational, and scientific value to the nation and its people. The question is: are we doing enough to save and protect wildlife and plants. There are ways to help save these important life forms: You can join the (NWO) which defends and enforces the Endangered Species Act. They also seek to reduce threats to wildlife by encouraging limited use of pesticides and supporting care to avoid water contamination. Another way is to become an advocate for the dangers of global warming. Temperature changes due to global warming directly affect plants and animals through the threat of disease, fire and habitat loss. You can also join and support conservation efforts like those supported by the Global Wildlife Fund.
