The arts reflect various cultural problems, so the rest of the world is therefore able to gain insight into social problems and their severity. This way individuals of all cultures can be educated about these issues. Through growing technology, awareness has increased. Today we have films, photographs, music, social media that allow us to “post” or “tweet” issues that are happening around the world. It spreads the word faster allowing us to be informed quickly. This technology arrived at the end of the 20th century and continued into the 21st century. Music has always existed; however songs about social issues have become popular. Photography was introduced in the late 19th century and allows for a visual insight into current events. There are various problems that have been seen in the past and are still seen today. Poverty is a problem that still requires attention today and is present in many countries. Another is the social classification of people that divide them into low class, middle class and upper class. The destruction of the environment due to urbanization has also been an increasingly serious situation. Quality education of children is another dilemma, which varies from country to country and city to city. For all who read, these themes will be shown through photography, poetry, a painting and a film. The class system and poverty in 16th century England (Utopia) Utopia is set in 16th century England.
