Why do some teachers fail to provide the maximum learning experience for their students? I have come up with three different concepts on how I can support my students to get the maximum learning experience in the classroom. One of the reasons why teachers cannot provide the maximum learning experience for their students is because teachers do not take the time to explore their students' preferred learning style. Some teachers rely heavily on one teaching style, closing doors to students who cannot fully learn a specific teaching style used by teachers. Another reason teachers fail is because they don't create positive emotions in the classroom. When students feel uncomfortable in class, it would be really difficult for them to learn. Finally, teachers should encourage cooperative learning, which creates a positive relationship between students and promotes group success. To succeed in providing maximum learning experience to students, teachers should generate positive emotions in the classroom, become familiar with students' learning styles, and promote cooperative learning in the classroom. One way I support my students in the classroom is to be familiar with their learning styles. Not all students learn the same way in a classroom. By knowing and becoming familiar with students' learning styles, I would know how to impart my lessons and lessons that will suit each student's learning styles. In class, we discussed VAKT (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and tactile) learning modes that filter how students learn best and how they can connect new information to old information (Greczi, 2014). By implementing different lessons that fit each student's preferred learning styles, I have achieved... half of the paper ......a lot of learning by helping each other through cooperative learning. Furthermore, cooperative learning helps students deal with criticism and critique other students' ideas (Greczi, 2014). Based on my experience, I have met people who have difficulty dealing with criticism from others. As a teacher, I have the responsibility to create a learning environment in which each student can courageously face criticism from other students and at the same time direct criticism at others. Since cooperative learning develops the skills mentioned above, I believe my students would benefit from my lesson if they learned to properly handle and appreciate criticism. In summary, cooperative learning is one way I can help my students develop their interpersonal skills and build relationships with each other. Works CitedEric Jensen's Brain-Based Learning Theory Book
