In the capitalist and globalized society we live in today, there is a large gap between those who have and those who have not. This can relate to resources, political stability and wealth. The capitalist or neoliberal system practiced by our society allows our society to have a free trade market; where competition is supposed to produce equal opportunities for both rich and poor (which is obviously not the case), letting companies pursue whatever economic advantages they seek to gain without government interference, and the emphasis on individual responsibility rather than on the concept of public responsibility. goods and community. Therefore, the current economic system has failed due to unequal distribution of wealth which causes a part of the global society to become underdeveloped and poor. As a result, these underdeveloped societies struggle and continue to struggle in the depths of poverty, while societies considered “developed” enjoy the excessive luxury of wealth that is not necessarily necessary. This unequal distribution leaves these underdeveloped societies at the mercy of wealthier societies who exploit their resources, and their people, for the sake of profit.
