Bead Bar Network Bead Bar is a growing business that is looking for a greater level of operations across their network. They need a network design that allows them to expand and be more effective in everyday transactions. So now I have to look at the different components that exist in their system, drive types, software, topologies, architecture, and the pros and cons of the recommended network. Bead Bar is a company that allows customers to design their own jewelry, with the use of beads, threads and threads. The Bead Bar has three different divisions, six studios in several different states in the United States. They also issue supplies to five franchises; they supply anyone who needs supplies. They also have the Bead Bar on Board designed for cruise ships. The Studios division manages all other studios and the original one. It can be very challenging to keep up with seven organizations on paper. Many obstacles arise from the fact that they do not have a network. Bead Bar is limiting its potential as a competitor and its growth as a company. Bead Bar kept up with all inventory, employees and finances on paper forms. Due to the growth of the company, the card no longer works. It is inefficient and causes problems such as lost orders, incorrect billing, and fulfillment delays. Problems of this nature will only diminish their reputation and cause a decrease in business. A network would allow Bead Bar to be global, faster, organized and more efficient. It would make each study accessible for each individual study's information. It would be helpful to better track the amount of inventory coming in and out of each studio. The network would be able to separate the customers, inventory and money acquired by each franchise. A Computer networks will reduce the likelihood of the previous problem recurring. It would put the value and effectiveness of each division into perspective. Developing a network and adding computers are absolutely necessary for Bead Bar to reach its full potential. Bead Bar has already purchased 14 personal computers, two notebooks, printers and zip drives. Personal computers come with Microsoft Windows XP as an operating system and different software for each individual.
